Using netLibrary to find online books

netLibrary is an online collection of electronic books written on many subjects. This is a great source for finding electronic books on legal topics. It can help you answer questions such as the examples listed in the box below.

Searching tips for netLibrary:
  • You can use Boolean searching (and, or, not) in the search box, but if you don’t specify a search operator, and is assumed.
  • You can end your search term with an * to search for all words that start with those letters – for example cat* will search for cat, catch, cats, catsup, etc.
  • You can end your search term with ** to search for all forms of that word – for example bring** will search for bring, bringing, brought.
