Fill in all the gaps, then press "Check" to check your answers. Use the "Hint" button to get a free letter if an answer is giving you trouble. You can also click on the "[?]" button to get a clue. Note that you will lose points if you ask for hints or clues!
Click on the Search page. The main three ways to search for poems include , , and .

Click on "select from list" link next to the keyword field. Look for the word "red." This word appears times in poems in the database.

Now, check the box next to "red" and click on the Search button. You'll go back to the main search page. Using red as a keyword, search for poems published between 1999 and 2003 by female poets. When you search, the second result is a poem called by poet .

Click on the "select from list option" for First Line/Title Keyword and look for poems where the word "why" appears in the first line or as a title keyword. There are poems that meet this criteria.

You can make your search more precise by searching with including Living in the Year(s), , , and Literary Movement. Using these methods, you can your search.

Now try searching for male poets who were part of the Vorticism movement (use "select from list" for Literary Movements). The only poet on your first page of results will be .

Click on Complete Contents on the left menu bar to browse through poets alphabetically. The first poet listed under "C" is . The first poet listed under "O" is .
