OCLC Research Identifies
Top 1,000 Library Books
The new OCLC Top 1,000 web site lists the
1,000 works most widely held by libraries, along with
sub lists, a readers’ poll, sample cover art,
“Find in a Library” links, comparisons
to other lists, and a download file.
Visitors can view all 1,000 ranked titles or any
of a number of sub-lists, including banned books,
biographies, books made into films, children's books,
drama, fiction, librarianship, music, poetry, and
others at http://www.oclc.org/research/top1000/default.htm.
