RESTRICTIONS/LIMITATIONS: Circulating
print and audio/visual materials, use of public access
computers with additional signed agreement. Reference/genealogy
materials may not be borrowed. One renewal on print
materials. No renewals on audio/visual materials. Borrowing
privileges will be suspended for overdues or unpaid
fines. All TexShare borrowers must be patrons in good
standing at their home library or within the TexShare
system. Patrons seeking TexShare cards from our library
must continue to borrow materials from our library and
remain in good standing with us to maintain their TexShare
card.
ELIGIBILITY: TexShare borrowers with
TexShare cards from other libraries must present their
home library card, TexShare card, and valid State of
Texas DMV photo ID. Patrons seeking a new or renewed
TexShare card from our library must have a valid Texas
drivers license or valid Texas DMV picture ID, and have
an active membership, in good standing, with our library
for at least six (3) consecutive months.
CHECK-OUT CARD AVAILABILITY: Borrowing
privileges must be renewed annually.
HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday through
Friday from 10 to 7, Saturday from 10 to 1, closed Sunday.
RENEWALS: May renew print materials
in person, by telephone, by e-mail or by special electronic
form on the library's website. Audiovisual materials
may not be renewed. Materials reserved by another patron
may not be renewed.
RETURNS: Borrowers must return materials
to our library in person at the circulation desk, in
the outside book return, by mail or UPS, etc. Magazines
and comic books may not be placed in the outside book
return.

OVERDUE REMINDERS: Overdue notices
are made by telephone, postcard, e-mail and first class
mail. Any postage or long distance telephone charges
must be paid by the borrower.
RECALLS: When materials are reserved
by another patron no renewals are allowed.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference and
most genealogy materials. Newspapers. Microfilm and
microfiche.
LOAN POLICIES: All circulating materials
are loaned for two weeks.
FINES AND FEES: Ten cents per item
per day on overdue materials. Damaged materials are
assessed by the library staff and appropriate fees charged
at that time. If an item has to be replaced due to damage
from a borrower the replacement costs plus a $5.00 processing
fee will be charged. Videocassette/DVD replacement average
price $19.95 plus $5.00 processing fee. Damaged videocassette/DVD
storage box $2.00.
LOST ITEMS: An item is considered
to be lost when it not returned to our library within
60 days. We charge the borrower the replacement cost
of the item and a $5.00 processing fee per item.
BILLING INFORMATION: Bills are due
before any further materials may be borrowed. Payments
may be made in person or by mail. Failure to pay all
fines and fees within 60 days will result in permanent
loss of library card and may be referred to the police
department for collection.
