LIMITATIONS: 
Three books may be borrowed from the open collection. Does not include access to the Computer Lab or to Interlibrary Loan. 

ELIGIBILITY: 
Borrower must have a valid TexShare card from the authorizing institution. He/she must complete Amberton's TexShare Loan Record, which requires an additional form of identification (valid student ID or valid Texas driver 's license.)

CARD AVAILABILITY: 
Borrowing privileges expire upon the expiration date of the TexShare card. 

HOURS:  
During each 10-week session:

Sunday -- Closed
Monday-Thursday -- 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Friday -- 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Saturday -- 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Interim between sessions: 

Sunday -- Closed
Monday-Thursday -- 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Friday-Saturday -- 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: There are no renewals. 

RETURNS: 
Borrowers are responsible for returning books to the Amberton University Library Resource Center. When the Library is closed, books may be placed in the bookdrop available by each door. When the building is locked, use the dropbox located at the southwest corner near the door to Admissions and Student Advising. The dropbox is emptied daily.

OVERDUES:
As a matter of courtesy, an overdue notice is mailed when a book is approximately 4 days overdue. The notice will be sent to the address provided by the borrower. It is the responsibility of the borrower to update his/her current address as needed.

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: 
Non-circulating items include, but are not limited to, reference books, audiovisual materials, and periodicals. 

LOANS:
Books are loaned for a period of two weeks. No renewals are allowed. 

FINES:  
The library overdue book policy is progressive: 25 cents per day for the first 4 days, $1.00 per day for the next 14 days, and $5.00 per day for the next 12 days. 

LOST ITEMS:  
Any item overdue for 30 days incurs a fine of $75.00. There is no additional processing fee or replacement cost. 

BILLING: 
Payment is due upon billing. Delinquencies will be reported to the TexShare card holder's home institution library. Borrowing privileges will be suspended until the matter has been resolved.
