LIMITATIONS: Adult patrons have a 10 material limit, children
(under 18) have a 5 material limit. Materials include books,
audio materials and videos. Items can be renewed a maximum
of 3 times (videos go out for 1 week and the rest go for 3
weeks). The only collection unavailable to ANY of our patrons
is the reference collection. A fine is assessed after audio
materials and books are 60 days late and videos are 21 days
late. The fine is $5 per item and once a patron has a fine,
he or she loses borrowing privileges until the fine(s) are
paid. The fine(s) maybe be paid a $1 at a time. ELIGIBILITY:
Any person that is a resident of the state of Texas may register
for a TexShare card at our library. Adults must have a valid
TX driver\'s license or Tx ID. Juveniles must have a parent
or legal guardian sign a card for them. The patron-to-be applies
at the front desk.
CARD AVAILABILITY: Borrowing privileges are granted during
normal hours of operation. Patron cards are up-dated once
a year.
HOURS: Library hours are as follows:
Mon-Thur: 9am-8pm
Friday: 9am-6pm
Saturday: 10am-3pm (closed on Sat. Memorial Day thru Labor
Day)
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Materials may be renewed in person,
by phone or by email.
RETURNS: All materials may be returned at the front desk,
or in the night drop on the west side of the building, or

EXPRESS MAIL: Same
OVERDUES: Overdue notices are sent out by mail. Patrons receive
1st and 2nd notices that the materials are late and then they
receive a 3rd notice that a fine is being assessed and borrowing
privileges are suspended.
RECALLS: Materials needed by another patron will be recalled
by phone once the materials become overdue.

LOAN POLICIES:
Books-3 weeks
Audios-3 weeks
Videos-1 week
Magazines-3 weeks
FINES: $5 per item that is late. Damage fees are assessed
by the amount of damage done to the item.
LOST ITEMS:
An item is considered lost after a fine has been
assessed or the patron tells us the material is lost. Lost
fees are the cost of the item+a $1 processing fee+the fine
(if applies).
BILLING: Payments may be made at the front desk or by mail.
They are due as soon as the fine has been assessed and failure
to pay results in loss of borrowing privileges.
