LIMITATIONS: Texshare cardholders may check out 3 books. No checkout for audios, videos, newspapers, periodicals, or reference material.

ELIGIBILITY: The potential TexShare borrower must qualify for a regular library card as stated in our eligibility policy. They must be at least 17 years old; have a valid Texas Driver 's License, State I.D. card, or passport; and provide proof of residency showing the name and current mailing address and street address (physical address), such as voter registration card, utility bill or receipt, insurance card, or tax receipt for property owned. The patron must have had a library card at the Aubrey Area Library for at least six months and have used it responsibility (i.e., no long overdue materials, consistently overdue, lost material, etc.) for that period of time.

Tuesday-Friday, 9:00-5:00
Saturday, 10:00-12:00

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: No renewals.

RETURNS: Items may be returned (1) during regular hours, (2)in the book drop located at the front of the library, or (3) by mail. If returned by mail, the postmark will be considered the return date.

OVERDUES: If material borrowed from the library has not been returned within the specified time, the library staff can (but is not required to) make one courtesy call to the patron. If the material is not returned within three days, a notice will be mailed to the Patron. If after seven (7) days, the material has not been returned, a second notice, sent certified mail, will be sent, along with a copy to the home library. Items will be considered lost if not returned in three months.

RECALLS: No recalls.

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: videos, audios, newspapers, periodicals, and reference material

LOAN POLICIES: two weeks

FINES: Late fees are assessed at the rate of 0.15 per day for every calendar day that items are late even though the library may be closed. Patrons who have lost, damaged, or destroyed Library material will be charged the damage/replacement cost, applicable fines, and a $3.00 kit processing fee. Patron will also be responsible for any postage incurred, if notification by mail was necessary to reclaim library material.

BILLING: Payments may be made in person or by mail. Failure to return material will result in a complaint being filed with the Police Department and notification to the borrower 's home library.
