LIMITATIONS: Checkout privileges for TexShare card holders
do not include access to Inter Library Loan Serve, the Reserve
Reading Room, special collections, or to electronic resources
restricted by licensing agreements. TexShare patrons may not
borrow audio-visual materials. Usual limitations on TexShare
patrons: 5 items for 3 weeks with one renewal permitted. Loan
privileges are suspended for patrons with overdue materials
or unpaid fines.
ELIGIBILITY: TexShare patrons apply for checkout privileges
at the Circulation Desk on the first floor of Moody Memorial
Library. Patrons must present both their current TexShare
card and a photo I.D. Patrons will be asked to fill out an
information form. Because of staffing limitations, assistance
may not be available to TexShare patrons in the late evenings,
on weekends, or during holiday periods.

academic institutions expire at the end of each semester except
faculty cards which expire at the end of the academic year.
HOURS:
Sunday: 1 pm - 1 am (Midnight in summer)
Mon-Thurs: 8 am - 1 am (Midnight in summer)
Friday: 8 am - 10 pm
Saturday: 9 am. - 10 p.m
Closed Thanksgiving (2 days), Christmas
Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Easter weekend (3 days),
Fourth of July. Interim sessions the library is open 8 am
to 5 pm Monday through Friday and closed on weekends
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: No phone renewals. Materials must be
brought to the library for renewal. Late fees must be paid
before overdue materials can be renewed. Materials requested
by other library patrons cannot be renewed.
RETURNS: The borrower is responsible for returning materials
on or before the due date. The borrower 's responsibility
ends when materials are checked in at the Circulation Desk.
The borrower is responsible for damage to library materials
while the materials are checked out to him. The library will
charge the borrower for any materials damaged in library book
drops or in the mail. TexShare borrowers cannot return Baylor
library materials through Interlibrary Loan or by TexPress

OVERDUES: The Library sends overdue notices as a courtesy.
Notices are sent by e-mail when possible or by mail. The library
is not responsible for late or undelivered notices.
RECALLS: The librry will recall materials checked out to
TexShare patrons when those materials are needed by Baylor
students, faculty, or staff. The library will not recall library
materials requested by TexShare patrons. Recall notices are
sent by e-mail when possible or by mail.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Newspapers, periodicals, reference
books, microforms, media items, materials in the remote storage
facility, children 's picture books in the Zeta E collections,
materials shelved in any special collection.
LOAN POLICIES: In most cases: 3 weeks.
FINES: Our minimum fine is 25 cents per day per late item.
Fees for damaged materials are based on the replacement value
of the book plus a minimum processing fee of $10.00
LOST ITEMS:
We consider an item lost after it has been overdue
3 weeks. Our minimum fee for lost materials is $80.00 per
item. If an item is returned after being declared lost, the
patron will receive a refund minus a billing fee of $20.00
per item.
BILLING: Bills are due on receipt. Patrons may pay bills
at the Circulation Desk or mail payment to the Access Services
Department. Patrons who fail to pay bills or fines will have
their borrowing privileges revoked and be reported to their
home libraries. Baylor faculty and students will have their
borrowing privileges blocked in the Baylor Central Libraries
if they fail to return materials or pay fees owed at another
TexShare institution.
