LIMITATIONS: Limit four books on the same
subject. Limit of five videos/DVDs (no renewal). New material
checked out for one week with one renewal (if no one waiting).
Other material (excluding videos/DVDs) are checked out for
two weeks with two renewals (if no one waiting). Equipment
loaned to Bellaire residents only. Borrowing privileges blocked
at fines of $10 or more.
ELIGIBILITY: Application available at front
circulation desk. Requires two phone numbers (second number
for someone at a different address, ie employer, neighbor,
family member) and proof of address (driver's license, checkbook,
insurance, current mail). Email address can be included in
the person's file to facilitate reminders and holds.
CARD AVAILABILITY:
TexShare borrowers' cards will expire one year from
date of issue.

Monday: 9 am - 8 pm
Tuesday: 9 am - 8 pm
Wednesday: 9 am - 6 pm
Thursday: 9 am - 8 pm
Friday (mid-Aug - May): 1 pm - 5 pm
Friday (June - mid-Aug): 9 am - 1 pm
Saturday: 9 am - 5 pm

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renewals may be made
on-line, by telephone or in person. ILL requests must be made
by telephone or in person.
RETURNS: All items borrowed from the Bellaire
City Library must be returned to the Bellaire City Library
at the front circulation desk or in the book depository located
at the front of the building near the sidewalk.

OVERDUES: Overdue reminders are send by mail or electonically
once the material is two weeks past due. A second reminder
is sent at another two weeks, then a billing notice sent two
weeks after that is the material has not been returned.
RECALLS: Recalls are not done.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference materials,
materials used by large number of students and placed on temporary
non-circulating status.
LOAN POLICIES: TexShare borrowers will be
afforded Bellaire's standard loan polcies. Most items are
checked out for two weeks with two renewals. New books are
checked out for one week with one renewal. Most magaziness
are checked our for one week with no renewal. Videos/DVDs
are checked out for one week, no renewal.
FINES: Late fees for books and magazines
are 20 cents a day per item. Videos/DVDs are $1 per day per
item. Sundays are charged. Lost material will have a $5 processing
fee added to the cost of the material, plus any fines if the
material is late. Damage fees are charged based on damage.

LOST ITEMS: An item could be considered
lost if not returned six weeks past the date due. Cost of
the material at time of purchase is charged plus $5 processing
fee and any fine.
BILLING: Fines, damage fees, and lost item
payments are due when incurred. Payment may be made by cash
or check at the library's circulation desk. Failure to pay
will result in denial of borrowing priviledges.
