LIMITATIONS: No Interlibrary Loan services.
ELIGIBILITY:Current Buda Public Library Card holders with
no pending fees may apply for a TexShare Card.
New Buda Card applicants will be eligible for the TexShare
Card after one month of borrowing activity and no pending
fines. Visiting TexShare Card holders may apply for borrowing
privileges at the Buda Public Library by presenting a valid
TexShare Card, current official photo ID, and their "home"
library card. The borrower must complete the Buda Public Library
application form and sign it. For children 15 and under a
parent or guardian, with current official photo ID, must be
present to sign the application. TexShare card applications
and renewals must be made in person.
CARD AVAILABILITY : TexShare Card expires one year from the
date of issue. Please contact the librarian if you wish to
renew your TexShare Card.

Monday 10 AM to 8 PM,
Tuesday through Thursday 10 AM to 7 PM,
Friday & Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM.
Service hours are subject to change.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS : Items may be
renewed in person, by phone or by email at budalibrary@budalibrary.org.
An item may be renewed one time. No renewals
on overdue items or items on hold.
RETURNS : TexShare Borrowers are responsible
for returning Buda materials directly to the Buda Public Library
by the due date. Book drops are available indoors during business
hours and 24-hours outdoors. Items returned by mail must be
sent by insured mail.

OVERDUES: Notices are sent by mail as a courtesy. Borrowers
are responsible for all overdue fees.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference items
and In-House Reserve items are non-circulating.
LOAN POLICIES: Loan period for books and
books on tape is two weeks. Videos and magazines circulate
for one week.
FINES: Fine for overdue books and books-on-tape
is $.05 per day. Fine for overdue videos is $.25 per day.
LOST ITEMS:
The library posts a list of replacement charges
for lost books. A processing fee of $3.00 may also be charged.
BILLING: Bills are payable upon receipt. Borrowing privileges
will be suspended for : (1) Unpaid lost or damaged books and
(2) Unpaid fines
