LIMITATIONS: Card is good for one year
from date of application. TexShare Card holder is limited
to 3 items for the first loan, and must be aware of
and abide by all other Burleson Library circulation
policies.
ELIGIBILITY: Applicant must be an
adult Burleson Library Card holder (18 or over) with
a Resident or Annual Card. Applicant must have the card
for a minimum of six months and a record in good standing
with at least two loans and returns. To be in good standing,
patron must have no overdue items and no fines at the
time of application.
CARD AVAILABILITY: Application may
be made in person at Burleson Public Library. Cards
must be renewed annually.
HOURS:
Monday-Thursday: 10am - 8pm
Friday 10am - 6pm
Saturday 10am - 4pm
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Videos and DVDs
may not be renewed. Other materials may be renewed in
person, by phone, or online through our automation system.
RETURNS: Items may be returned in
person at Burleson Public Library or mailed to the library.

OVERDUES: Overdue notices will be
sent by U.S. mail and by e-mail
RECALLS: Patron's TexShare Card may
be invalidated should patron keep materials beyond the
normal loan period or incur fees that are not cleared
up within 90 days.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference
materials are for in-house use only.
LOAN POLICIES: Three weeks for books,
one week for media.
FINES AND FEES: For overdue books
patron is charged $ .25 per day. For overdue media patron
is charged $1.00 per day.
LOST ITEMS: For lost materials
patron is charge replacement cost plus $5 processing
fee.
BILLING: When charges exceed
$5.00 check-out privileges are suspended. Payment may
be made in person by cash or check or a check may be
mailed to Burleson Public Library.
