LIMITATIONS: Books from the
general collection may be checked out for fourteen (14)
days. A maximum of two (2) books may be borrowed per
visit. Privileges may be suspended for non-return or
damage of books and/or failure to pay fines.
ELIGIBILITY: Patrons may apply
for a TexShare card at the Circulation Desk on the Clarendon
Campus by presenting a valid drivers license and completing
a borrower registration form. Card and ID must be presented
each time books are borrowed. Card alone will not be
used to checkout books.
HOURS: The Library is open Monday-Thursday
8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., Sunday
5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. The Library is closed on all major
holidays. Please check the Clarendon College website
for special closing and summer hours as they may vary.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Books
may be renewed in person or by telephone on or before
the due date if the book(s) is not on hold. Books that
are overdue may not be renewed.
RETURNS: Patrons are responsible
for returning books by the due date. Books may be returned
to the circulation desk located inside the college library,
or returned by mail.

OVERDUES: As a courtesy, overdue
reminders will be sent to borrowers at the end of each
month.
RECALLS: All books are subject
to recall. If a book is recalled, the recall date will
replace the original due date and the borrower will
be notified by mail and/or telephone.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference
and special collection materials, magazines, audiovisual
materials and equipment, newspapers and mircoforms.
LOAN POLICIES: Patrons may borrow
books from the general collection for fourteen (14)
days. A maximum of two (2) books per visit.
FINES: The overdue fine is
.10 per day, per book. Charges for damages range from
$5.00 to the replacement cost of the book, pluse a $2.00
processing fee per book.
LOST ITEMS: Books overdue
for two (2) months will be considered lost. Charges
for lost books include the replacement cost of the book
plus a $2.00 rocessing fee per book.
BILLING: Fines & fees may
be paid in cash or money order at the circulation desk
at the Clarendon Campus or by mail.
