LIMITATIONS:
1. Check out circulating materials only
(limit of 5 items).
2. Use of special collection (Reference, Pamphlet/Vertical
file) is permitted.
3. Use of the facilities of Founders Library for study purposes
is permitted.
4. Cannot check out Reference materials or Periodicals.
5. Cannot request interlibrary loans.
6. No one under 17 allowed to borrow library materials.
ELIGIBILITY:
Apply at the Circulation Desk. Need a picture ID from
home institution and a state issued picture ID.
CARD AVAILABILITY:
TexShare privileges are for one semester at a time.
Renewal of privileges at the beginning of the semester
and at the discretion of the Library Director.
HOURS:
Summer: M-R: 8a.m.-9p.m. F: 8a.m.-5p.m. Sat.: Closed.
Sun.: 2-6p.m. Intersessions: M-R 8a.m.-6p.m. F: 8a.m.-5p.m.
Weekends: Closed. School Year: M-R: 7:30 a.m.-10p.m.
F: 7:30a.m.-5p.m. Sat.: 10a.m.-5p.m. Sun. 2-10p.m.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS:
Renewals may be made in person, over the telephone,
or online.
RETURNS:
Materials may be returned either to the circulation
desk or the book drop at the entrance to the Library.
Videos must be returned to the circulation desk.

OVERDUES:
Overdue notices are sent out via U.S. Mail the day after an
item is due. Weekly reminders (up to a total of three) are
sent via the U.S. Mail. After four (4) weeks the borrorwer
is informed that s/he will be billed for the overdue item(s).
The bill will be the replacement cost plus a processing fee.
RECALLS:
TexShare borrowers may not issue a recall on materials
checked out by CUA personnel. TexShare borrowers may
receive recall notices for materials that they have
checked out.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS:
1. Reference Materials. 2. Periodicals. 3. Audio-visual Equipment.
4. Reserve Material.
LOANS:
All materials are due after four (4) weeks. One renewal is
allowed unless a Concordia student/staff/faculty member has
placed on hold on the material.
FINES:
Fines for overdue materials is 25 cents per day every day
that the Library is open. Fees for lost books are the replacement
cost plus a processing fee for each item that has been lost.
LOST ITEMS:
An item is considered lost if it has not been returned after
four (4) weeks and after the time specified in the letter
sent to the borrower notifying him/her of the impending charge
for the item. Cost is replacement cost plus a processing fee.
BILLING:
Payment is due at the Library. If a payment is not made for
overdue materials or for lost materials, the borrowing privileges
of the individual will be revoked. A notice will be sent to
the home library of the failure to pay for lost materials.
