LIMITATIONS:
Number of items allowed to check out: Books
-- 20 titles (only 3 books on the same subject) Audio Tapes
-- 5 titles Video Tapes -- 4 titles The first time a patron
uses their library card they are limited to 2 item.
A patron may not check out if:
a. they have overdue items or fines
b. if we have bad address information
c. their TexShare card has expired
d. if they do not have their library card with them
ELIGIBILITY: To apply for a Corsicana Public Library card
a borrower must present: a. a valid TexShare card b. a valid
library card from their home library c. Photo I.D. with correct
address
HOURS: Library hours are:
Monday - Tuesday 10:00 - 8:00
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00 - 6:00
Saturday 10:00 - 4:00
CARD AVAILABILITY: Cards are valid for six months from the
date issued. They must be renewed on or before the expiration
date.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Video tapes may not be renewed.
RETURNS: Library materials must be returned to the Corsicana
Public Library either in person or by U.S. mail. AV items
(audio and video tapes) may not be returned in the bookdrop. MAIL RETURN:

OVERDUES: Overdue notices are sent by mail. After the second
notice the home library will be notified. Borrowers who fail
to return library materials may be turned over to the Corsicana
Municipal Court for prosecution.
RECALLS: The Corsicana Public Library does not recall items.
Reserved items may not be renewed.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: The following items do not circulate:
magazines, newspapers, reference books, microforms, Genealogy
Collection.
LOAN POLICIES: Loan periods are as follows: Books -- 3 weeks
(some Hot Titles circulate for 7 days and are marked) Audio
Tapes -- 3 weeks Video Tapes -- 2 nights
FINES: Fines are as follows: Books -- $0.10 per day (maximum
$2.00) Audio Tapes -- $0.10 per day (maximum $3.00) Video
Tapes -- $1.00 per day (maximum $5.00)
LOST ITEMS:
Charges for lost items are the cost of the item.
BILLING: Bills are due upon receipt. Payments are made to
the Corsicana Public Library. Unpaid bills will be reported
to the home library of the patron and be turned over to the
Municipal Court for prosecution.
