CARD AVAILABILITY : Cards may be issued whenever the Library
is open Cards must be renewed each year RENEWAL OF MATERIALS : Items may be renewed in person, by mail,
by phone, or by email RETURNS : Items may be returned at the Circulation Desk, through
the book drop by the front door 24 hours a day (some large
items do not fit), by delivery service or by mail MAIL RETURN:

OVERDUES: The Crowley Library notifies patrons AS A COURTESY
ONLY. Responsibility lies with the patron to return his materials
by the date due. He will receive written procedures at registration.
When possible, the Library calls patrons after one week and
after two weeks past the date due. No long distance reminders
will be made. A written notification is sent after 3 weeks.
Patrons are encouraged to consult the date due notice given
at time of checkout.
RECALLS:
Items on reserve may not be renewed. Patrons are
encouraged to place a hold on items that are checked out if
they are wanted.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: reference genealogy local history most
computer CDs
LOAN POLICIES: everything is 3 weeks except the newest issue
of each magazine, which is 3 days
FINES: Everything is $.25 per day for overdues, including
days closed (please use the materials drop) Damaged materials
are assessed by the Library Director, and a charge up to and
including the REPLACEMENT cost of the item.
LOST ITEMS:
An item is considered lost if it has not been
returned by the latest due date. The charge is a total of
the replacement cost of the item plus any fines up to the
cost of the item. This must be paid in full before other items
are checked out.
BILLING: Bills are due immediately upon receipt. Payments
are made at the Circulation Desk of the Library. A fine or
fee of any amount blocks the patron from borrowing items.
