RESTRICTIONS/LIMITATIONS: Does not include Interlibrary Loan. Does not include Genealogy or Reference materials. Does not include reserve privileges or remote access to online subscription databases. Limit of five (5) items. Borrowing privileges suspended for failure to pay billed charges.
ELIGIBILITY: Must have a Dawson County Public Library Card. Must apply in person. Must have a valid photo ID with TexShare card. Must have a working phone number.
CARD AVAILABILITY: Available during regular library hours of operation. borrowing privileges must be renewed at the end of six (6) months.
HOURS:
Monday - Friday: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm
RENEWALS: No renewal service for TexShare cardholders.
RETURNS: Borrowers are responsible for returning materials by due date. Materials may be returned to the circulation desk, available drop boxes, or by mail.

OVERDUE REMINDERS: Users will receive two (2) overdue reminders, and then suit is filed with JP.
RECALLS: Should a material need to be recalled, borrower will be notified by phone.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Genealogy, Reference, Periodicals, Microfilm, New Arrivals, Videos, DVDs.
LOAN POLICIES: Two (2) weeks.
FINES AND FEES: 10 cents per day per item. Damage fees are assessed by the amount of damage done to the item.
LOST ITEMS: Items are considered lost after a fine has been assessed or the patron claims it as lost. Lost fees are the replacement cost of the item plus a processing fee.
BILLING INFORMATION: Bills are due when incurred. Must be paid in cash at the library. A money order or cashier's check may be mailed. No personal checks accepted. Failure to pay results in loss of borrowing privileges.
