ELIGIBILITY: Borrowing privileges and card
applications are available during regular hours of operation
at all locations. Borrowing privileges remain in effect
until the expiration date on the card issued by the
home library.

All three locations are closed on major holidays.
CARD AVAILABILITY : Borrowing privileges and card applications
are available during regular hours of operation. borrowing
privileges remain in effect until the expiration of the card.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS : Items may not be renewed.
RETURNS : Books may be returned to
any Denton location. Books may also be returned via
the U.S. Postal Service. Items reurned via mail should
be sent in ample time to be received by the due date
in order to avoid overdue charges.

OVERDUES: As a courtesy, borrowers are mailed an overdue notice
when items are one month overdue. Failure to return or pay
for lost items may result in the deliquent accounts being
reported to a collection agency, borrowing privileges suspended
and the home library notified.
RECALLS:
No recalls.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Genealogy,
reference, newspapers, periodicals, Texana, microform,
videos, DVDs, audio books, and CDs .
LOAN POLICIES: All books are loaned
for a three weeks.
FINES: Late fees are $.25 per day.
LOST ITEMS:
An item is considered lost if it is not returned
within three months. The cost to replace an item plus a $5.00
processing fee will be charged.
BILLING: Payments for overdue fees
or lost tiems may be made in person at any of the three
locations, or sent through the mail to the North Branch
Library. Please include your library card number and
name. For lost items, include the title of the book.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: All library
customers are assessed an additional fee of $15.00 if
their account is turned over to the collection agency.
