LIMITATIONS:-Texshare patrons cannot borrow audiovisual materials, reference materials, magazines and reserved items. -No interlibrary loan services. -Texshare Patrons with unpaid bills will loose their borrowing privileges until their account is paid up. -All other policies are the same as for local patrons.

ELIGIBILITY: -Current Dripping Springs Library patrons with no pending overdues or fines may obtain a Texshare card. -Children 17 and under must have their parent's permission to obtain a Texshare card. -New Dripping Springs Library patrons must have a borrowing history of at least three months with no overdues or oustanding fines to obtain a Texshare card. -Texshare borrowers may apply for a Dripping Springs library card by filling out an application form and presenting a valid Texshare card, driver's license and their "home" borrowing card.

HOURS: Library operation hours year round are as follows:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10:00-6:00
Tuesday, Thursday:10:00-8:00
Saturday:10:00-2:00

CARD AVAILABILITY : -Texshare cards expire after 6 months, and will be renewed if patrons have no pending overdues or fines. -Cards are available during regular library hours.

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: -Materials may be renewed in person or by phone. -There is a limit of two renewals per item. -No renewals for reserved or overdue items

RETURNS: Borrowers are responsible for returning materials directly to the Dripping Springs Community Library. They can drop off items inside the library during regular operating hours or use the outside drop box when the library is closed. OVERDUES: Patrons will be notified of overdue materials by mail. Patrons are responsible for all overdue fines.

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Audiovisual materials,reference, magazines and newspapers and reserved items

LOAN POLICIES: -Loan period for books and audiotapes: 3 weeks -Loan period for videos: 1 week -There is a limit of 5 items per card

FINES: -Overdue fines are 10 cents a day per item up to a maximum of $5.00 per item.

LOST ITEMS: An item is considered lost after 3 months. Lost items are billed for full replacement cost plus a $5.00 processing fee per item.

BILLING: Bills are payable upon receipt and can be paid at the circulation desk or by mail. Patrons with unpaid fees or fines will lose their borrowing privileges until their account is paid up. Check are payable to: Dripping Springs Community Library
