LIMITATIONS: Books are checked out for 14 days with 2 renewals.
Renewals may be made by phone. Audio books and Videos are
checked out for 14 days. 3books or Audio Books and 2 videos
may be checked out at the same time. Borrowing privileges
will be curtailed until fines are paid and overdue books returned.
Historical files are not checked out. They may be used here
in the library.
ELIGIBILITY: TexShare card, photo ID, and Texas Driver license.
HOURS: The Florence Public Library is open 5 days a week.
Monday thru Friday from 8:30 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 5:30. The
library is closed during most holidays.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renewals may be made in person or by
phone. We do not have an online catalog.
RETURNS: Books may be returned to the check out desk or in
the book drop at the end of the block. Other material should
be returned to the desk.It is possible to return by mail.

OVERDUES: Overdue notices are phoned to local people. Out
of town people get theirs by mail. Most get no reminder at
all.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS:
Reference material. Historical file
items.
LOAN POLICIES: No restrictions.
FINES: Every one pays 5 cents a day for each day the library
is open for books. Videos are 25 cents a day the library is
open. We do not charge for days the library is closed. For
damaged material, if too bad the cost of the item. The rest
depends on how much damage has been done and what it will
cost to repair.
LOST ITEMS:
When the person cannot find the item and considers
it lost. The full price of the item is charged.
BILLING: We like to receive payment when
the item is returned. We will take into consideration
that every one does not have money with them each time
they come in the library. If they are local people and
use the library consistently they are allowed to pay
the next time they come in. No items may be checked
out if no payment is forthcoming.
