LIMITATIONS: There is no limit to the number of books a borrower may check out, after an initial two month probationary period (for new borrowers). They may renew books twice. Only three video cassettes may be checked out at a time, due to the limited number of VCR tapes we have, and they may only be renewed one time. Most reference materials are for in-house use only and can only be checked out with special permission from the librarian. Borrowers who fail to return books in a timely manner may be restricted from further services until they have returned all delinquent materials.

ELIGIBILITY: Borrowers must apply at the circulation desk. They must present picture ID (valid Texas driver\'s licence) and a copy of a utility bill received in the mail at their current address.

CARD AVAILABILITY: do not differ-

HOURS: We are open Tuesdays and Saturdays, 9a.m to 5 p.m., on Thursdays from 10a.m. to 7 p.m. sll year around. We close on July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas, if they fall on a normally open day.

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: renewal of materials may be requested in person, over the telephone, or via e-mail.

RETURNS: Materials must be returned to the site from which they were checked out, or by mail if necessary.

EXPRESS MAIL: Frankston Depot Library, Town Square South, Frankston, TX 75763

OVERDUES: Overdue notices are sent by regular mail, or made by telephone if there has been no response to the mailed card within a reasonable period of time.

RECALLS: Borrower is notified by telephone if he or she has renewed the borrowed item once already ands someone else needs it.

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Certain specific non-fiction reference items may not be checked out but must be used in-house only.

LOAN POLICIES: All borrowers may keeps books for two weeks with one renewal. VCR tapes are checked out for two days only and usually cannot be renewed.

FINES: Fines are: 10 cents per open day for books and audio books, 50cents per open day for VCR tapes. The fax machine is available to the public. Charge for use is $1. per page sent, unless it is long distance, which cost $1.50 per page. This fee is to cover the cost to the library of using the machine.

LOST ITEMS: When an item is lost, the library charges the patron the amount the library paid for the item, plus a $5. processing fee.

BILLING: Payments must be made to the person presiding at the circulation desk. Failure to pay results in suspension of library privileges until such time as they are paid.

ADDITIONAL: Only persons holding a current library card are permitted to use the library\'s computers. The copy machine may be used by anyone, whether or not he or she has a library card. Charge for copies is ten cents per page copied. The same is true for Fax use.
