LIMITATIONS: Limited to five items
on first time check out, 50 items maximum; 2 renewals
except for popular items; remote access to non-TexShare
databases not available to TexShare borrowers; $5 maximum
unpaid fines.
ELIGIBILITY: May apply at any Fort Worth
Library; must have TexShare card and photo id.
CARD AVAILABILITY: Must be renewed annually; cards are
available whenever libraries are open.
HOURS: Central Library open Mon, Wed,
and Fri, 10-6; Tue & Thurs, 12-8; Sat, 10-6; Sun,
1-5. All branches have different schedules (www.fortworthlibrary.org/locations.htm)
for locations and hours.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renew items
online, by phone or in person.
RETURNS: May return items to any Fort
Worth Library at circulation desk or in 24-hour bookdrop;
all items may be returned in bookdrop.
MAIL RETURN:
First class mail only to 500 West 3rd. Street,
Fort Worth, TX 76102 EXPRESS MAIL: same as above
OVERDUES: Telephone, paper mail and/or
email notifications.
RECALLS: N/A
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference, genealogy, local history,
rare books,
LOAN POLICIES: Books, CDs and cassettes
3 weeks; DVD and videos 1 week
FINES: Youth books 15 ¢ per day;
DVDs and VHS $1.00 per day; all other materials 25 ¢
per day
LOST ITEMS: Price of item plus $10 or
$5 processing fee depending on the item
BILLING: Bills may be paid at any
Fort Worth Library; borrowing privileges are suspended
until payment is received.
