LIMITATIONS: New card members are
limited to 2 items at a time for the first month. Items
may be renewed 3 times. All library privileges are blocked
if fines reach $5.
ELIGIBILITY: Gaines County Library
in Seminole or Seagraves, TX: current Texas driver’s
license or Texas ID card.

Closed Holidays.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renew all materials
by telephone.
RETURNS: Materials may be returned
to Gaines County Library in Seminole or Branch Library
in Seagraves, TX. There is also drop at both libraries
for weekends and closed hours.

OVERDUES: Overdue materials notice sent by
mail to all patrons.
RECALLS: Reserves may be placed on material.
No renewals if reserved. If the reserved material is
overdue, phone calls will be made.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference materials & microfilm.
LOAN POLICIES: Books and audios are checked
out for two weeks. Five movies are loaned for 5 days.
FINES: : Fines 10 cents a day per
book. $1.00 a day per video.
Damaged materials: the cost of the material plus $5
processing fee.
LOST ITEMS: The cost of the material plus
$5 processing fee.
BILLING: Fines may be paid at time
of return or at a later date. However, on fines totaling
$5.00 or more privileges will be restricted. If overdue
items total $50 or more, after two mailed notifications,
borrower information is turned over to the Gaines County
Attorney for collection.
