LIMITATIONS: TexShare borrowers may check out a total
of 4 items at a time. Videocassettes will be limited to 2
at a time, and are included in the total. TexShare borrowers
may not check out bestsellers, or books that are restricted
to 7 day check-out. If there are no reserves on the items,
there may be one renewal on the materials. Materials may be
placed on reserve for TexShare borrowers, but will only be
held for 2 library working days. Borrowing priviledges will
be blocked for borrowers with overdue materials or outstanding
fees against their account.
ELIGIBILITY: TexShare borrowers may
apply for priviledges during regular library hours at the
circulation desk. Photo ID and 1 additional verification of
address must be presented. Photo ID includes Texas driver's
license, Texas ID card, student ID, or photo ID from place
of employment. Additional verification of address may include
checkbook, vehicle insurance card or current utility bill.
All TexShare borrowers must be at least 18 years of age, or
a parent must be present to sign the application.
HOURS:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM- 6 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30 AM - 8 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM -4:30 PM
CARD AVAILABILITY: Cards will not be
issued to TexShare borrowers during the last 30 minutes before
closing each day.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Materials may
be returned inside the library or in the bookdrop.
RETURNS: Materials may be returned inside
the library or through the book drop in the west wall of the
library.

OVERDUES: Overdue notices are sent when
materials are 7 days overdue. A second notice is sent when
items are 1 month overdue.
RECALLS: Materials are not normally
recalled unless overdue. If a TexShare borrower is asked to
return and item and it is not returned within 48 hours, fines
will be doubled.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS:Reference, Genealogy,
Newspapers
LOANS: Books and audio books: 14 days
Videos/DVD's, Test books: 7 days
Magazines, Chilton manuals: 3 days
FINES: Books, audio books, magazines: 50 cents per day.
Videos, Chilton manuals: $1.00 per day
Damaged items will be charged for at replacement cost of item
plus $10.00 processing fee per item.
LOST ITEMS: An item is considered
to be lost when overdue for more than 30 days. Charges will
be replacement cost of item plus $10.00 processing fee per
item.
BILLING: Bills are due on receipt. Payment
will be made to Gatesville Public Library, 111 N 8th Street,
Gatesville, TX 76528. Failure to make payment will result
in prosecution.
