LIMITATIONS:
Texshare patrons are allowed to checkout 2 books from the
general collection. There is a 3 week checkout period with
no renewals. No interlibrary loan provileges or checkout from
special collections. Most library materials can be used within
the building. Patron will be blocked for overdue materials
and fines of $3.00 or more. A separate agreement covers
faculty, staff, and students of Cisco Junior College--Abilene
Center.
ELIGIBILITY:
Patron must show a current Texshare card and a photo I.D.
at the main circulation desk on the 1st floor.
CARD AVAILABILITY:
Borrowing privileges are extended through the date printed
on the Texshare card.

Fall & Spring semesters:
Mon-Thur 7:30am-10:30pm
Fri 7:30am-6pm
Sat 11am-5pm
Sun 1pm-5pm
Hours vary during holidays, intersession, and summer terms.

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS:
No renewals.
RETURNS:
Patons are responsible for returning materials by the due
date. Late fees will be assessed for items received after
the due date.

OVERDUES:
As a courtesy, patrons will receive overdue notices.
RECALLS:
All books are subject to recall. If an item is recalled, the
recall due date on the notice replaces the original due date.
Higher fines are assessed for overdue recalled materials.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS:
Reference materials, periodicals, microforms, special collections,
audio-visual materials, software, reserve items, and state-adopted
textbooks.
LOANS:
3 week checkout period.
FINES:
Minimum fine rate of .10 per item per day. There is a $60.00
minimum charge for a lost item.
LOST ITEMS:
After an item is overdue for 60 days it is considered lost.
There is a $60.00 minimum charge for a lost item.
BILLING:
Payment for overdue fines and lost items may be paid at the
main circulation desk. Patrons who fail to pay overdue fines
or charges for lost items will have their privileges blocked
and notification will be sent to their home library.
