LIMITATIONS: A maxim of 5 circulating items may be checked
out at a time. Only 2 of the items may be tapes, CDs, of videos.
Items may be renewed 1 time if there is no outstanding request.
Genealogy materials are restricted to local patrons only.
Interlibrary loan is not offered to TexShare card holders.
Borrowing privileges will be blocked until outstanding fines
are paid and overdue items returned.
ELIGIBILITY: Borrowers must have a valid TexShare card and
photo ID (issued by a federal or state agency OR by a college
or university) showing address.
CARD AVAILABILITY: Borrowing privileges and card applications
are available during regular hours of operation. Borrowing
privileges remain in effect until the expiration date of the
TexShare card.
HOURS:
Monday 10 am - 7 pm
Tuesday & Wednesday 9 am - 5 pm
Thursday 9 am - 6 pm
Friday 9 am - 5 pm
Saturday 9 am - Noon
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Items may be renewed 1 time in person,
by phone, fax or e-mail. An item will not be renewed if a
request had been placed on that item.
RETURNS: All material may be returned during regular library
hours at the circulation desk, or by first class mail. An
after hours drop is also available. If returned by mail, the
borrower is responsible for insurance and for loss if not
insured. May also be returned via UPS. MAIL RETURN:

OVERDUES: Overdue notices are sent by mail. Borrowers will
receive two overdue notices and a bill.
RECALLS: No Recalls.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Non-circulating items are Reference
materials, rare books, microfilm, periodicals and genealogy
materials.
LOAN POLICIES: Loan period is fourteen days for print materials
and audio books. Videos check out for 3 days.
FINES: Fines are 10 cents a day per barcode on books and
audio books. Fines for videos are $2.50 a day. Fees for damages
materials are based on the actual cost of repair or replacement.
LOST ITEMS:
An item is considered lost when one month overdue.
The fees for lost items are replacement plus processing.
BILLING: Payment of fines and fees may be made at the circulation
desk or by mail. Please include your name and the title of
borrowed items if paying by mail. Unpaid bills are turned
over to the County Attorney.
