LIMITATIONS: New patrons have limited
check outs (two materials the first visit, four the
second visit and six thereafter. Borrowing privileges
will be suspended for failure to pay fines or lost material
replacement cost.
ELIGIBILITY: Bring TexShare library card,
driver's license, proof of current mailing address and
a furnish information for a reliable reference. Borrower
must complete a library card application for Hockley
County Memorial Library.
CARD AVAILABILITY: Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday and Friday library hours are 9:00 am to 5:00
pm. Thursday library hours are 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
HOURS: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
library hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Thursday library
hours are 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Holiday closings for the
library are determined by the county commissioners court.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: No renewal service
for TexShare card holders.
RETURNS: Borrowers are responsible for returning
materials by the due date. Materials can be mailed to:

OVERDUES: Overdue notices are mailed
out weekly.
RECALLS: No
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference materials
LOAN POLICIES: Check period for all
materials is two weeks.
FINES: Fines are charged at the rate
of 5 cents per day per material.
LOST ITEMS: An item is considered lost
after it has been out for two weeks beyond its due date.
The Library will bill the patron for the replacement
cost of the item plus a processing fee.
BILLING: Fines and the cost of lost
materials are due immediately. Please contact the librarian
at 806-894-6750 for any overdue amounts. Payments may
be paid in person or mailed to: Hockley County Memorial
Library, 802 Houston St., Suite 108, Levelland, TX 79336.
