RENEWAL OF MATERIALS:
Items are renewable unless recalled or placed on hold. Phone
renewals are allowed.
RETURNS:
Borrowers are responsible for returning materials by the due
date. Borrowers are encouraged to return items in person.
Items may be returned by mail.
US Mail:
See mailing addresses for individual libraries.
OVERDUES:
One notice is usually sent for overdue items; however,
the libraries are not responsible for notifying borrowers
that materials are overdue.
RECALLS:
All items are subject to recall with the recall date replacing
the original due date.
BILLS:
Payment is due upon billing. Failure to pay will result in
automatic and immediate suspension of borrowing privileges.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS:
Reference, Reserves, periodicals, microforms, equipment, and
the Deaf Collection at SWCID.
LOAN PERIODS AND CHARGES:
Two weeks loan period for most items in the general collection.
Up to six items may be checked out.
FINES:
These may vary by campus. Borrowers with unpaid fines and
fees will have borrowing privileges suspended.
LOST ITEMS:
An item is presumed lost if not returned by the last due date
of the semester it was checked out. For lost items, the borrower
is charged the replacement cost of the item plus a processing
fee.
