LIMITATIONS: Borrowers that do not live or own property in Moore County are limited to 2 items, unless they have a card issued by a TPLS or HLC library. 1 renewal for all patrons. Patrons with fines are blocked from borrowing.

ELIGIBILITY: A TexShare card will suffice for proof of Texas residence, but another form of identification will be required. Application may then be made for a card to check out locally. Local patrons wishing to obtain a TexShare card must have a record in good standing.

CARD AVAILABILITY: Borrowing privileges are good through all hours and days of operation. No new cards are issued within 15 minutes of closing time.

Mon, Thurs 9am-8pm
Tues, Wed, Fri 9am-6pm
Sat 9am-1pm
Closed Sundays and all holidays as recognized by Moore County

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renewals can be made in person, or via telephone or email. If an item is on hold for another patron, renewal may be denied.

RETURNS: Any item taken from Killgore Memorial Library or any branch thereof, may be returned to any branch. Items from other libraries may not be left at any Moore County Library. Any method of return is acceptable, so long as no charges or other responsibilities are incurred by the library.

OVERDUES: First attempts are made by phone. If unsuccessful, a notice is sent by mail. RECALLS: Recalls only take effect when a patron tries to renew, or has kept the item past the due date. That is, a patron may keep the item until the original due date, but may not renew the item if requested by another patron.

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Newspapers, periodicals, encyclopedias, and other reference works may not be checked out, but may be freely used in the library by any patron.

LOAN POLICIES: Books and audio tapes check out for 2 weeks with 1 renewal. Videos check out for 2 days with 1 renewal. This applies to all borrowers.

FINES: Fines and fees are the same for all: overdue books are .05/day. Overdue audiotapes are.05/item/day (each tape is barcoded). Overdue videos are $1.50/day. Maximum fines are $5.00/book, $25.00/video, $2.00/audio cassette.

LOST ITEMS: An item is considered lost 8 weeks after due date. Replacement cost (or a reasonable estimate) plus a processing fee of $2-$3 (depending on the item) is charged. Items found within 3 months may be returned (with a receipt for payment) for a refund, less the processing fee.

BILLING: Bills are due on receipt. Payment may be made to the address above. Failure to pay will result in a loss of privileges at all Moore County Libraries.
