RESTRICTIONS/LIMITATIONS: -Book Loan
*Three books per card for two-week loan period
*Disabled persons allowed four books per card for two-week loan period
*Books not on reserve may be renewed for an additional two weeks
*Books not on reserve may be renewed by phone

ELIGIBILITY: Library Cards:
-Free library service to Texas residents or property owners
*Must provide proof of residence
*Nonresidents of Texas must pay a $5.00 non-refundable charge
*Membership good for five years, Renewal fees due every five years
-Replacement Card fee is $2.00 for a lost or damaged card
-Only one card per patron, no exceptions

HOURS OF OPERATION: Please call Laguna Vista Public Library for hours, as hours change throughout the year.
Library is closed during national holidays such as Christmas, New Years, Good Friday, July 4th, and Thanksgiving.

RENEWALS: Books may be renewed in person at the Circulation Desk or via phone.
*Books not on reserve may be renewed for an additional two weeks
*Books not on reserve may be renewed by phone

RETURNS: AV materials have to be returned to the Circulation Desk (only). Books and all other materials may be placed in outside book drop, inside book return, in person to the Circulation Department or by mail.

UPS EXPRESS MAIL: Same as U.S. Mail

OVERDUE REMINDERS: *Notification may be made for overdue books
*Regardless of notification, responsibility remains the patron’s
*Twenty cents per day fine per book for each day overdue
*Additional fifty cents per notification letter

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference, Periodicals, Local History, and Genealogy collections.

LOAN POLICIES: Book Loan
*Three books per card for two-week loan period

FINES AND FEES: -Overdue Book
*The patron is responsible for returning books on time
*Notification may be made for overdue books
*Regardless of notification, responsibility remains the patron’s

LOST ITEMS: Please call Laguna Vista Public Library for Lost Item Charges as it varies with the material in question.

BILLING INFORMATION: Payment must be made to the Laguna Vista Public Library via cash or check with proper identification.
Laguna Vista Public Library reserves the right to refuse payment via check if proper identification is not provided.
