LIMITATIONS:
Access to certain electronic resources, for example FirstSearch and Lexis/Nexis, is presently excluded, pending investigation of licensing agreements and other issues. Inter-library loans are not provided to Tex-Share borrowers. Material limits, and renewals will match those provided for Lamar University patrons.

ELIGIBILITY:
A Tex-Share cardholder in good standing from an approved institution may borrow from the Gray Library's physical collection in general accordance with the existing local lending policies. Full- or part-time students, faculty, and staff of the other publicly supported four-year institutions participating in the Tex-Share program are currently eligible. The card is not transferable and must be surrendered if so requested.
Borrowers must initially present their validated Tex-Share card (issued from their home library) along with a valid photo I.D. They will then be given a bar-coded Gray Library "Courtesy Borrower" card which can be used for all transactions. The bar-code will be valid for students until the 15th day of May, August, or December, depending upon the semester in which they are enrolled. Bar-codes for faculty/staff will be valid until August 31 of the current academic year. All first-time Tex-Share borrowers must read and sign this agreement. Both the Gray Library and the patron will retain a copy of the signed agreement.

RENEWALS:
Renewals will match those provided for Lamar University patrons. Items eligible for renewal may be so arranged over the telephone by dialing (409) 880-8133.

RETURNS:
All materials must be returned to the Gray Library by the date due. These materials must be returned either in person or by first-class, insured public or private carrier.

LOAN POLICY:
Refer to the Gray Library's regular borrowing policy limits. Loan periods will match those provided for Lamar University patrons.

LOST AND DAMAGED ITEMS:
Charges will be incurred by all Tex-Share borrowers for lost or damaged materials in accordance with the existing Gray Library policy.
