LIMITATIONS: Non-Resident borrowers
may borrow up to 4 books for two weeks. Renewal may
be done in person, by telephone, fax or e-mail. Reference,
Local History and Audio-Visual materials are excluded.
Unpaid fines will result in blocking of borrowing privileges.
ELIGIBILITY:Non-Resident borrowers
(outside Webb County) must present a current TexShare
Card from their home library and a valid photo ID. (example:
Texas Drivers License; Texas ID card or student ID)
Resident borrowers (Webb County) must have a Laredo
Public Library borrowers card, in good standing, at
least 6 months prior to application. CARD AVAILABILITY : TexShare cards
will be issued up to 15 minutes before closing and are
valid for one year. TexShare Cards are issued at the
Main Library ONLY.

M F S 9:00 a.m. ~ 6:00 p.m.
T W T 9:00 a.m. ~ 8:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m.~ 5:00 p.m.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS : Items may
be renewed one time by phone, in person, by e-mail or
fax.
RETURNS : All items may be returned
by mail, in person or in any library book drop.

OVERDUES: Overdue notices are mailed out when an item becomes
overdue.
RECALLS: Recalls are issued only
when an item is overdue. Notification is made by telephone
or mail.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference,
Local Historical Collection, Audio-Visual materials
and Special Reserved Collections.
LOAN POLICIES: 2 weeks
FINES: $0.20/day/item, max $5.00.
LOST ITEMS: Items are declared to
be lost after 90 days overdue. Actual current price
plus $5.00 processing fee is assessed per item.
BILLING: Payment is due upon receipt
of notice. Bills may be paid in person or by mail. Failure
to pay fines will result in loss of borrowing privileges.
Checks should be made payable to Laredo Public Library.
