LIMITATIONS:
TexShare borrowers in good standing may use the Library's
materials, fee-based electronic databases, and reference services
in the Library during normal operating hours. Circulating
materials may be borrowed for 3 weeks, 5 items at a time,
with 1 renewal allowed. A maximum of 5 reserves may be placed
on circulating materials. Fines for overdues [50-cents/day]
and lost materials must be paid in full to be in good standing.
ELIGIBILITY:
TexShare borrowers may register at the Circulation Desk with
their TexShare Card [from their "home" library]
and a photo ID. TexShare Cards expire August 31st each year,
so borrowers will need to reapply each year on or after September
1st.
CARD AVAILABILITY:
TexShare borrowers may register at the Circulation Desk during
normal Library hours [see hours posted on our Web site]. Materials
may be borrowed during these hours, too. Borrowing privileges
must be renewed after September 1st each year. Borrowing privileges
will be suspended for any TexShare borrower who owes overdue
or lost book fines.
HOURS: During the Fall and Spring semesters, the Library is
open as follows:
Mon - Thurs 7:30 am - Midnight
Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday 1:00 pm - Midnight
The Library is closed between Christmas and New Year's and
certain National holidays. We observe restricted hours between
semesters, during Spring Break, and during the summer. Check

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS:
Renewals may be made by phone, fax, email, or in person. The
BARCODE NUMBER on the material and the borrower's TexShare
Card number will be required to complete the renewal.
RETURNS:
Materials should be returned in person at the Circulation
Desk. For the borrower's convenience, materials may be returned
by mail, Attn: Circulation Desk. Materials returned by mail
must have the proper postage and must be postmarked BY THE
DUE DATE; otherwise, a fine will be assessed.

Reminders for overdues will be sent as a courtesy to borrowers.
If an email address has been supplied, notices may be sent
by email; otherwise, they will be sent by mail.
RECALLS: Recall notices will be sent if a book is needed
by a LeTourneau University student, faculty or staff member.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Items that do not circulate include
the following: Archival materials, Rare books, Reference materials,
Reserve items, and Vertical file items.
LOANS:
TexShare borrowers may check out materials for 3 weeks.
FINES:
Overdue materials incur a 50-cent per day fine. Lost or damaged
materials are charged at the current market rate for the item.
Out-of-print materials are chaged a minimum of $25 or the
replacement cost of the book when it can be found. Lost, damaged,
and out-of-print materials also incur a $10 administrative
processing fee.
LOST ITEMS:
An item is considered lost if the borrower declares it lost
or if the borrower fails to respond to the final overdue reminder
notice.
BILLING:
Bills are due on receipt and may be paid at the Circulation
Desk in cash. Unpaid items will be reported to the borrower's
home institution.
