LIMITATIONS: Borrowing privileges for TexShare card holders
are limited to books. Limit is 3 items on loan at one time.
Privileges will be blocked if borrower has overdue materials
or outstanding bills for lost items.
ELIGIBILITY: Apply at the circulation desk with TexShare
card, home library card, and photo ID.
CHECK-OUT CARD AVAILABILITY: Patrons
of Medina Community Library in good standing, who have
had a Medina Community Library card for no less than
six months, may register for issuance of a TexShare
card, to be valid for a one-year period from date of
issue. Parental or guardian consent is required for
any applicant under 18. No patron with outstanding fees
or with repeated disregard for borrowing procedures
and library property will be eligible.
HOURS: Monday and Thursday 10-6; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
1-5; Saturday 10-1.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: No renewals for materials borrowed
by TexShare cardholders.
RETURNS: Return to Medina Library in person,in the Library\'s
outside drop slot, or by mail. MAIL RETURN:

OVERDUES: The Library may attempt to contact the borrower
of overdue materials, but any materials not returned within
a month of the due date will be considered lost.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference materials (marked by a red
dot) do not circulate.
LOAN POLICIES: Three week loan period. No renewals allowed
for materials borrowed through TexShare.
FINES: There are no fines for late materials, but borrowers
are requested to notify the Library and arrange for return
of materials as soon as practicable.
LOST ITEMS:
Materials will be considered lost if not returned
within one month of due date. Borrowers will be charged the
full replacement cost of each lost or badly damaged item plus
a $5 processing fee.
BILLING: Borrowing privileges will be suspended as long as
the cardholder has overdue materials or unpaid bills for lost
items.
