LIMITATIONS: Block privileges for unpaid bills and/or unreturned items. Limit 40 items, included in that 40 items: limit total 5 audio and video items, limit 2 art prints. limit 1 renewal or no renewal if item on "hold" for someone else. All reference, most genealogy collection, some Petroleum collection does not circulate all non-circulating items clearly marked.

ELIGIBILITY: Bring the TexShare card to the Circulation desk with photo identification and a midland card is issued. First use for all borrowers limited to two items. (This includes our resident borrowers.) To get a TexShare card from our library the borrower's record is checked for no fines, fees, overdue books, or lost books.

CARD AVAILABILITY: Check out privileges available whenever the library is open.

HOURS: School year: Monday - Thursday 9 AM - 9 PM; Friday & Saturday 9 AM - 6 PM. Summer HOurs: Monday 9 AM - 9 PM; Tuesday - Saturday 9 AM - 6 PM. Branch library year-round schedule: Monday -Thursday 10 AM- 9 PM; Friday & Saturday 10 AM - 7 PM

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renewal request through WebCat and e-mail (denied if book on reserve). Telephone and in person (patron informed immediately whether renewal is approved).

RETURNS: Return to main library or branch during hours of operation to circulation desk. After hours to main library outside book drop.

EXPRESS MAIL: Same as above

OVERDUES: One reminder sent after third week late. Two weeks later a bill is sent.

RECALLS: The date due is the date the patron was "told" when the item was checked out.

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Adult and juvenile reference, most Genealogy collection, some Petroleum collection. No magazines, journals, periodicals or newspapers circulate.

LOAN POLICIES: Most items 21 days. Art prints two months; DVD and video 7 days.

FINES: Late Fees: Books 10 cents a day; Videocassette and DVD 25 cents a day; art print 50 cents a day. Damaged item--actual cost of item plus $3.00 processing fee.

LOST ITEMS: An item is considered lost two weeks after the first (and only) overdue reminder. Lost item fee--actual cost plus $3.00 processing fee.

BILLING: Bills are due upon receipt. Payment is made to circulation desk. Failure to pay fines or pay for lost or damaged books results in loss of borrowing privilege and loss of use of public Internet privilege.
