LIMITATIONS:
CIRCULATION POLICIES 1. TexShare Card borrowers may
have out a maximum of four circulating items at a time
from the LSCSD Libraries. 2. Non-circulating and Reserve
items may not be checked out. 3. Books are checked out
for two weeks. Circulating non-print materials have
variable check-out periods and may be subject to other
limitations. 4. Materials may be renewed once for an
additional loan period if there have been no holds placed
on them. Materials may be renewed in person or by telephone.
5. TexShare Card privileges do not include interlibrary
loan. 6. Fines: Books: 25 cents per day, $3.00 maximum
per item. Audio-visual materials: Fine varies per library;
$10.00 maximum per item. Lost/damaged materials: Cost
of item; $5.00 replacement fee; accumulated fines.
ELIGIBILITY:
TexShare Cards must be presented at the Library Circulation
Desk in order to check out materials. The Circulation
staff will issue an LSCSD card to each visiting borrower.
This card is valid until the end of the current semester,
and the expiration date is on the card. To renew an
LSCSD card, borrowers must again present their valid
TexShare Card to prove that they continue to be eligible.
Any failure to observe TexShare responsibilities could
result in the revocation of the card. Each participating
institution reserves the right to revoke the reciprocal
borrowing privileges of its patrons.

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS:
RETURNS:
BORROWERS RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Materials must be returned
by the due date shown on the item. 2. All borrowed materials
must be returned to any LSCSD library listed below and
not to other TexShare libraries. 3. Borrowers are responsible
for timely payment of any fines, damage costs or the
replacement cost of lost materials. Borrowers will be
denied renewal of LSCSD card if outstanding fines or
overdues exist. |
