LIMITATIONS: A maximum of 20 items
may be checked out at a time. Interlibrary loan is not
offered to TexShare borrowers. Privileges will be blocked
until any overdue materials are returned and fines paid.
On-site Internet access is available. TexShare borrowers
are subject to the same video limitations as Paris Public
Library card holders.
ELIGIBILITY: Borrowers from other
libraries requesting Paris Public Library cards must
have a photo ID showing a permanent address and a valid
TexShare card issued by the "home" library.
Paris Public Library patrons requesting a TexShare card
must be 18 years or older.
CARD AVAILABILITY: Borrowing privileges and card applications
are available during regular hours of operation. Borrowing
privileges remain in effect until the expiration date of the
TexShare card. Paris Public Library issued TexShare cards
will expire six (6) months from the issue date. TexShare card
renewals must be made in person.

Mondays 1-5 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays
10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 9
a.m. - 6 p.m.
Closed Sundays and Holidays
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: There will be no renewals of materials
checked out with the TexShare card. The loan period on books
and audios is twenty-one (21) days, with no grace period.
RETURNS: Library materials may be returned to the Circulation
Desk book drop, or either of the outside book drops. Items
returned by US Mail or Express Mail should arrive in the Library
by the due date. Materials may be mailed to the following

OVERDUES: Reminders ARE NOT senf for overdue materials.
LOAN POLICIES: The Loan Period for TexShare borrowers is
21 days, with no grace period.
FINES: Fine rates are 20 cents per day per
items for books and audios, and 50 cents per day per
time for videos. Fines begin the first day after the
due date. There is a $4 processing fee on lost or damaged
books, audio and video cassettes. Damaged audio/video
cases are charged a $2.50 fee, a damaged DVD or CD case
a $3 fee, and adamaged or missing barcode fee is $2.
LOST ITEMS: An item is considered lost
if not returned within six (6) weeks of the due date.
Charges are as follows: the price of the item plus a
$4 processing fee. Fines are not charged if the borrower
has to pay for a lost item.
BILLING: Payment of fines and lost material fees may be made
at the Circulation Desk or by mail. (Address is listed under
"Returns".) Please include the TexShare card number,
patron name and title of the item(s) if paying by mail. The
TexShare card holder agrees to pay any charges incurred as
a result of a late return, damage to or loss of materials.
Failure to comply will result in the loss of TexShare card
privileges at the Paris Public Library and notification to
the TexShare card holder's home library.
