LIMITATIONS: TexShare card holders are limited to five(5)books.
Materials may be renewed once, if not previously requested
by another user. Excludes access to interlibrary loans and
borrowing from noncirculating and audiovisual collections.
A patron will be denied future TexShare privileges if he defaults
on a TexShare loan.
ELIGIBILITY: Texas borrowers are eligible for privileges
upon presentation of a valid TexShare card issued by their
home library and a valid picture TDL or TID. Anyone under
18 must have parent or guardian sign on borrowers application
and show ID.
To be eligible for a TexShare card from the home library
Pasadena Public Library, you must be a Pasadena resident,
have had a library account in good standing at least three
months with Pasadena Public Library. Good standing means no
fines owed or overdue items during the last three months period.
You must show a valid picture TDL or TID. Anyone under 18
must have parent or guardian sign on borrowers application
and show ID.
CARD AVAILABILITY: TexShare cards are issued during regular
hours of operation. TexShare cards issued by Pasadena Public
Library as a home library will expire one year from the date
issued. Pasadena Public Library accounts established for individuals
with valid TexShare cards from another library will expire
six (6) months from date issued.
HOURS: Yes, we do close for the holidays.

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: TexShare
borrowers are not allowed to renew items categorized as new
books, items that have holds upon them or items that are overdue.
Eligible items may be renewed one time. Items can be renewed
in person or by telephone at either branch. Main librarys
phone number is 713.477.0276 and Fairmont Branch library\'s
phone number is 281.998.1095.
RETURNS: Only materials belonging to Pasadena Public Library
may be returned to either Pasadena library location. There
are outside and inside bookdrops at both locations. Items
may be returned by US Mail. Returning items will be checked
in as soon as possible upon receipt. The borrower will be
responsible for any fines associated with mail/delivery/distribution

OVERDUES: Overdue notices are mailed when item is two weeks
overdue. Bill for unreturned items is mailed when item is
three months overdue.
RECALLS: Library does not recall items.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: No audiovisuals or reference materials
will be loaned.
LOAN POLICIES: Eligible items are checked out for fourteen
(14) days.
FINES: Twenty-five (25) cents per day for
each overdue item with maximum fine of ten dollars per
item.
LOST ITEMS:
Materials are considered lost if you fail to
return them within ninety days of the date the item was due.
You will be billed the replacement costs of materials lost
or damaged and a five dollar processing fee per item.
BILLING: Bills are due upon receipt. Make your checks or
money orders payable to Pasadena Public Library. Borrowing
privileges are suspended until materials are returned or payment
is made.
ADDITIONAL: A patron will be blocked from checking out any
materials from Pasadena Public Library immediately upon learning
of a TexShare overdue regardless of their Pasadena Public
Library account status. A patron will be denied future TexShare
privileges if he defaults on a TexShare loan.
