RESTRICTIONS/LIMITATIONS: Circulating
items only; reference, new magazines, and newspapers
are not included.
ELIGIBILITY: Current adult PCL cardholders in good standing
may apply at circulation desk. Visiting TxShare cardholders
must complete PCL application form, present current valid
photo id, home library card.
CHECK-OUT CARD AVAILABILITY: PCL patrons
are eligible after 4 months' activity in good standing.
Cards are issued up until the last half hour before
closing each day. TexShare cards expire when library
card expires, and must be renewed before privileges
are restored.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Monday through Thursday, 10 am - 9 pm
Friday, 10 am - 6 pm
Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm
Sunday, 1 pm - 6 pm
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: One time renewal only is available
in person or by phone. No renewals if overdue or on reserve
for another person.
RETURNS: Items must be returned directly
to the Library from which they were borrowed. Items
may be returned to PCL in person at circulation desk
or outside drop box, or by U.S.Mail or UPS.

OVERDUES: PCL does not accept responsibility for notifying
patrons of overdue materials. However, as a courtesy, notices
may be sent by mail. Borrowers are responsible for all overdue
fines, whether or not a notice is received.
RECALLS: No recalls.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Non-circulating items
are reference, new magazines, and newspapers.
LOAN POLICIES: Loan period is 3 weeks. No library materials
are due on dates the library is closed.
FINES: Fines are $.25 per day per item, excluding the day
returned.
LOST ITEMS:
Items are considered lost when the library is
so notified by the patron, or when 2 months has passed with
no response to overdue notification from patron. Lost books
will be assessed at the current replacement value of the book,
plus a $10.00 handling fee per item for items costing over
$9.99.
