LIMITATIONS: Texshare users are limited to two (2) books.
Materials may be renewed if not previously requested by another
user.
ELIGIBILITY: Texshare borrowers are eligible for privileges
at the Poteet Public Library upon presentation of a viable
Texshare Card issued by their home library and presenting
a photo ID. Only Texshare Card holders over the age of 18
are eligible to check out books and other materials.
CARD AVAILABILITY: 12:30 PM until 5:30 PM - Monday through
Friday. The Library closes on state and federal holidays,
and is not open on Saturdays nor Sundays. Texshare cards are
issued during regular hours of operation. All Texshare cards
expire 6 months after issuance.
HOURS: 12:30 PM until 5:30 PM weekdays. Not open on Saturday
nor on Sunday. Closed on all State and Federal holidays.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: All materials that are checked our
may be renewed 1 (one) time onnly. They may be renewed by
phone or in person.
RETURNS: All borrowed materials may be
returned by deposit in the outside drop box or by mail.

OVERDUES: Overdue reminder notices will be sent by mail
or telephone contact.
RECALLS: Books may not be recalled during the proper borrowing
period.
NON CIRCULATING ITEMS: None
LOAN POLICIES: Materials are loaned for a period of 14 days
from the checkout date. No other restrictions.
FINES: No fines are collectible.
LOST ITEMS:
Items are considered as lost when two reminder
notices are sent. The second reminder notice shall display
the anticipated cost of replacement of the item. If the materials
are not returned within 30 days of the date of the second
reminder notice, a charge of $2.50 (non refundable) will be
added to the cost of replacement. After 60 days, the local
magistrate will be notified and a court date will be set.
BILLING: All bills are due upon receipt. Failure to pay after
two reminder notices will result in a request for assistance
from the local magistrate.
