TexShare Library Card Program: Lending Policies

Eligibility:
The Borrowers must present a valid TexShare card and
a valid faculty/students ID from their home institutions
to complete a Courtesy Card Application.
- 1. Materials in circulating collection can be checked
out to
- faculty and students for 3 weeks.
- 2. A maximum of four items can be borrowed per visit.
- 3. Materials must be renewed in person. A request for
- renewal will be refused if the materials have been placed
on
- hold.
- 4. Overdue fine will be charged 25 cents per day per
item.
- 5. The borrower is responsible for lost or damaged
- materials. Charges for lost materials include a processing
- fee of $15.00.
- 6. Borrowing privileges will be suspended for non-return
of
- materials or failure to pay billed charges.
- 7. Reserved materials's loan is two hour in-house use.
- 8. Reference, Journals, Archives and Special Collections
are for
- in-house use only.
- 9. The services not available include CD ROM and online
- reference services under license or contract restrictions,
and
- interlibrary loan.
Responsibility:
The borrowers agree to return materials on or before the due
date. Materials should be returned in person, or by first class
insured mail.
