LIMITATIONS: TexShare card holders
will be allowed to borrow five items at a time with
only one renewal period (normal circulation time is
two weeks). Borrowing and computer privileges are suspended
when a patron owes fines in excess of $5.00; this applies
to TexShare card holders also.
ELIGIBILITY: TexShare borrowers must
apply in person at the Circulation Desk by presenting
a valid Texas photo I.D. card. They must be over the
age of 17 or have a legal parent/guardian present with
them at the time of application.
CARD AVAILABILITY: TexShare Cards are granted
during normal business hours; and cards expire one year
from the date of issue.

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renewals may
be made in person or by phone.
RETURNS: Items may be returned in
person at the Circulation Desk; through the night-drop
slot in the front window; or by mail.

EXPRESS MAIL: Same
OVERDUES: Overdue notices are sent
by regular mail after an attempt is made to contact
borrower by phone.
RECALLS: Recalls are normally made
by phone or mail.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference materials
and current periodicals do not circulate.
LOAN POLICIES: Library items such as books,
audio books, or periodicals are loaned for a two-week
period; videos are loaned for one week only. Extended
loan periods may be requested at the Circulation Desk
and approved by the Library Director or staff designee.
FINES: Overdue fines accrue at the
rate of $.10/day for each item after a one-day grace
period. Closed days are not included in the fines charged.
Damaged items are charged the replacement cost of the
item plus a $15.00 processing fee.
LOST ITEMS: "Lost" can
be dceclared by the borrower or any item that is not
returned within 90 days of due date. The borrower will
be charged the replacement cost of the item plus a $15.00
processing fee.
BILLING: Bills are due upon receipt
and may be mailed to the following address:

borrowing and computer privileges at the library.
