LIMITATIONS: There is a limit of
5 items that may be checked out for a period of two
weeks and then renewed twice. If a patron owes a fine
that goes unpaid, then he is blocked from checking out
any items.
Reference books are not available for checkout.
ELIGIBILITY: TexShare borrowers may
apply for borrowing privileges at the front desk of
the library. Identification required is a photo I.D.
CHECK-OUT CARD AVAILABILITY: 9:00 AM
to 1:00 PM and 2:00-5:00 PM are the hours that borrowing
privileges are granted.
HOURS: Our operating hours are from
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00-5:00 PM Monday - Friday.
We are closed for the following holidays in 2008: January
1, January 21, February 18, March 21, May 26,July 4,
September 1, October 13, November 11, November 27 &
28, and December 25& 26.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renewal may
be made in person or by telephone.
RETURNS: Borrowers may return items
to the check out desk. They may also return items through
the book drop located at the side of the library. Library
items may also be returned by mail.

OVERDUES: No reminder will be sent
that an item is overdue.
RECALLS: If a borrower has an item
that has been recalled, a phone call is made to inform
the borrower that he needs to return the item by the
due date.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference
items do not circulate.
LOAN POLICIES: Patrons may check
out books and music CDs for a period of two weeks plus
3 days grace. DVDs and Videos may be checked out for
a period of 3 days. All items may be renewed twice,
an then it is up to the discretion of the librarian.
FINES: Fine rates charged for overdue
books are $0.10 a day and $1.00 a day on overdue DVDs
and Videos. If an item is damaged, the librarian will
assess a fine or ask that the patron pay the cost of
the item.
LOST ITEMS: An item is considered
to be "lost" if it is not returned 3 months
from the due date. Charges for lost items are based
on replacement cost plus an $8.00 processing charge.
BILLING: Bills are due at the time
of notification. Payment may be made at the check out
desk or by mail. Failure to pay may result in patron
losing check out privileges.
