LIMITATIONS: TexShare users are limited
to two(2) books. Materials may be renewed one time if not
previously requested by another patron. Best sellers may not
be renewed.
ELIGIBILITY: Borrowers must present both a valid TexShare
card and a photo ID showing permanent address in order to
check out materials. Anyone under age 18 must secure the consent
and signature of their parent or legal guardian.
CARD AVAILABILITY: Privileges are granted,
and cards are issued during all regular hours of operation.
HOURS:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10AM - 6PM
Tuesday, Thursday 10AM - 9PM
Saturday 10AM - 5PM
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renewals may be made
in person, by email, or by phone.
RETURNS: Library materials may be returned
to the circulation desk, the outside book drop, or by U.S.
mail to the Scurry County Library. The borrower is responsible
for returning items in a timely manner, and is also responsible
for any damages or lost items.

OVERDUES: Overdue notices are sent out
by U.S. mail 10-14 days after the due date of materials.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Only books from
the circulating collections are loaned currently. Videos and
audios will not circulate to TexShare Card holders.
LOAN POLICIES: Books circulate for 14 days.
FINES: There are no fines for overdue books.
LOST ITEMS: An item overdue by one month is considered \"lost.\"
If materials are lost or damaged, the borrower will be charged
the price of the item(s) plus a $7.50 non-refundable processing
fee. The library reserves the right to pursue legal remedies
to obtain compensation for the material.
BILLING: Bills are due upon receipt. Make checks or money
orders payable to Scurry County Library. Borrowing privileges
are suspended until materials are returned or payment is made.
