LIMITATIONS: TexShare patrons may borrow up to two items with two renewals. The patron will be blocked from borrowing if items are not returned on time or fines are not paid.

ELIGIBILITY: TexShare borrowers may apply in person for borrowing privileges at Shackelford County Library. Patron must provide home address, mailing address, valid telephone number and valid photo ID.

CHECK-OUT CARD AVAILABILITY: Cards will be issued during normal hours of operation.

HOURS: Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Closed on all major holidays.

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renewal of library items may be made in person, by telephone or email.

RETURNS: Borrowers must return items to Shackelford County Library at the desk, at the book drop, or by mail.

RECALLS: Borrower will be notified by telephone that an item has been recalled.

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Books on reserve do not circulate.

LOAN POLICIES: The loan period for all items is two weekds.

FINES AND FEES: Fines are accessed at a rate of five cents per item per day that the library is in operation. Fees for damaged or lost items will equal the purchase price of a new replacement for the item.

LOST ITEMS: Fees for a lost item will equal the purchase price of a new replacement for the item.

BILLING: Consequences for nonpayment of fees and fines will be blockage from usage of all materials at Shackelford County Library.
