LIMITATIONS: Items my be borrowed
only by presenting a current library card from the college
the borrower is attending or the person's local public
library, along with a current TexShare card. Borrowers
are limited to two items from the circulating collection.
No loans are made from reference, periodicals, Texana,
reserve, or law collections.
ELIGIBILITY: TexShare borrowers must
present a valid TexShare Card and an accompanying institutional
identification card at the circulation desk.
CARD AVAILABILITY: Materials may be
checked out with TexShare Cards beginning the first
day of a semester or session. Borrowing privileges end
on the last day of a semester or session.
HOURS:
During fall and spring semesters, the hours are 8:00
A.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Mondays through Thursdays, 8:00
A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Fridays, and 11:00 A.M. to 2:00
P.M. on Saturdays.
During summer terms, the hours are 7:30 A.M. to 9:00
P.M. on Mondays through Thursdays and 8:00 A.M. to noon
on Fridays.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renewals
may be done in person or through the libraries' on-line
catalog.
RETURNS: Returns may be made
by depositing items in the book drop at the circulation
desk, by depositing items in the book drop outside the
library, or by mailing items (within the loan period)
to the library.

OVERDUES: Overdue
reminders are sent by mail.
RECALLS: Recalls are made by telephone or by mail.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Non-circulating items include
items in the reference, periodicals, Texana, reserve, and
law collections.
LOANS: Most items may be borrowed for three
weeks, with one renewal for an additional three weeks.
Exceptions are items specifically marked for shorter
periods, usually one-day, three-day, or one-week.
FINES: Fines are assessed at the rate of fifty cents
per day for overdue items from the regular circulating
collections. Higher fines are assessed for one-day,
three-day, and one-week items ($1.00 per day).
LOST ITEMS: Charges for lost items are the replacement
costs plus processing charges and accrued fine.
BILLING: Payment for fines and fees is due upon billing.
Failure to pay will result in revocation of borrowing privileges
and notification to the borrowers home institution.
