LIMITATIONS: TexShare cardholders are limited
to one item at the first check out time and then three items
checked out at one time. All other limits and restrictions
are the same as for Stephenville Public Library patrons, except
for no Interlibrary loans.
ELIGIBILITY: TexShare borrowers must present a valid TexShare
Card from their home library, a photo I.D., and an item showing
their correct mailing address, such as a check book, bill,
etc. A Stephenville Public Library card will be issued to
anyone 18 years and older. The Stephenville Public Library
card will expire on the date that the TexShare card from the
home library expires, none being over one year. When checking
out materials, the person must show their TexShare card, photo
I.D., and have a card with us on file. Local patrons must
have a record of no fines, overdues, etc., when applying for
a TexShare card.
CARD AVAILABILITY: Cards will be issued during regular business
hours.
HOURS: Tuesday, Wednesday 10:00-6:00 P.M.
Thursday 12:00-8:00 P.M.
Friday 10:00-6:00 P.M.
Saturday 8:00-4:00 P.M.
Sunday, Monday Closed
Holidays--call in advance
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: Renewals by person
or phone. Show your TexShare card in person, or by phone,
give your name and card number then the name of the
author and title of the book. Books, audiocassettes,
CDs, and magazines may be renewed twice. No renewals
for videos and DVDs.
RETURNS: With a note attached with your name, date, and TexShare
#, return the items to the circulation desk, book drops (front
and back), or by mail. MAIL RETURN:

OVERDUES: Overdue notices are sent by mail.
RECALLS: n/a
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference, newspapers,
and current magazines do not circulate.
LOAN POLICIES: Books, magazines, audiocassettes,
and CDs, are loaned for 14 days. Videos and DVDs are
loaned for two days-no renewals.
FINES: Fines for books, CDs, magazines,
and audiocassettes are 5 cents a day and videos and
DVDs $1.00 a day. Damaged items will be assessed full
replacement cost. All videos and DVDs will be $24.00.
LOST ITEMS:
A material will be considered lost if it is not
returned four weeks past the due date. The replacement cost
will be full current cost to replace. All videos and DVDs
will be $24.00.
BILLING: Payment for fines and lost materials should be paid
at the circulation desk or by mail. If paying by mail, include
your name, TexShare card #, and title of item. Failure to
return items, pay fines, etc., will result in the loss of
TexShare card privileges and in notification to the responsible
library that issued the TexShare card.
