LIMITATIONS: No access to Interlibrary Loan services or Course
Reserve materials. If any items are overdue, borrowing privileges
are suspended -- no checkouts of any kind. A maximum of 4
circulating items may be out at one time; a maximum of two
of those items may be audio-visual materials. ELIGIBILITY:All borrowers must have a valid TexShare borrower's
card, a Social Security number, and a photo ID. College/University
faculty/staff/students must have a current institution identification
card. Public library users must be 18 years old or older and
present a current public library card.

CARD AVAILABILITY : Borrowing privileges granted when the
library is open. Length of borrowing privileges: College/university/students'
cards will expire at the end of the semester of its issuance.
College/university faculty/staff/public library users' cards
will expire six months after issuance. RENEWAL OF MATERIALS : Items may be renewed 1 time either
through the LRC online catalog (http://library.accd.edu)
or in person at the circulation desk. RETURNS : Items must be returned to the same desk as checked
out. OVERDUES: As a matter of courtesy, a phone call is made
when an item is overdue. Failure to receive a phone call
does not absolve charges. It is the borrower's responsibility
to make sure the LRC has a current phone number in order
to contact the patron. The LRC does not call outside the
local dialing area. In some cases, a letter or postcard
reminder will be sent. In those cases, a charge for postage
is added to the patron's record.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Non-circulating items include but
are not limited to: reference materials, course reserve
materials, and serials.
LOAN POLICIES: Books circulate for two-week periods. Audio-visual
materials (including videos and music CDs) circulate for
1 week periods.
FINES: Fines are $0.10 per day per book and $0.50 per day
per audio-visual item. Items that are damaged are charged
various fees depending on the damage.
LOST ITEMS:
Items will be presumed lost four weeks after
the due date. Borrowers with lost items will be charged
replacement cost of the item, a $10.00 processing fee, and
any fines accrued.
BILLING: Fees, fines, and replacement costs are paid at
the circulation desk and are due upon receipt. All fees
are payable in cash, preferably in exact change. Failure
to clear record will suspend all borrowing costs and the
issuing library will be notified.
