LIMITATIONS:
Patrons may have up to 5 items checked out at any given time.
All normally circulating items will be available for check-out
to TexShare borrowers. Items may be checked out during normal
operating hours only, and must be checked out wil a library
staff member. Borrowing priviledges for patrons owing fines
will be suspended until the fine is paid.
ELIGIBILITY:
Application for borrowing priviledges may be made in the library
office. A valid TexShare card and photo ID will be required.
CARD AVAILABILITY:
Application for borrowing privileges may be made at any time
during normal operating hours. Borrowing priviledges will
be granted for the term in which the user's TexShare card
is valid. After expiration, borrowing priviledges will be
renewed upon presentation of a renewed TexShare card.
HOURS:
Summer hours: 9AM-5PM M-F. Closed on weekends and holidays.
Hours subject to change in the Fall.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS:
Materials may be renewed one time for an additional loan period
if no holds have been placed on the item. Renewals must take
place on or before the due date to avoid overdue fines. Renewals
should be made in person, though renewal by phone may be allowed
in some cases.
RETURNS:
Materials should be returned to the library office during
normal operating hours. Returns will be allowed via U.S. mail
or UPS/Express mail. Items returned by mail must be received
by the due date to avoid incurring overdue charges.

OVERDUES:
Overdue notices will be sent by mail.
RECALLS:
Recall notices shall be sent by mail or by email if such is
available. The due date for recalled materials shall be changed
to 5 days after the date of the notice. Overdue fines shall
be assessed at the usual rate.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS:
Reference and reserve materials are available for in library
use only and do not ciruclate. Reserve materials may be checked
out for in library use for a period of 2 hours.
LOANS:
Materials may be checked out for a period of 4 weeks.
FINES:
A fine of 25 cents per day will be assessed on overdue items.
A four day grace period, during with no fine will be charged,
will be allowed. After four days, overdue fines will be assessed
from the date on which the item was due. Overdue fines for
any item shall not exceed $10 or the cost of replacing the
item, whichever is greater. Days on which the library is closed
will not be counted in assessing fines. Fees for damaged items
will vary depending on the extent of damage, though will not
exceed the cost of rebinding or replacing the item.
LOST ITEMS:
Items shall be considered lost when they have been overdue
for 3 months, or upon the borrower's report of the item having
been lost, whichever comes first. A fine of $10 or the cost
of replacing the item, whichever is greater, shall be assessed
for lost items.
BILLING:
Overdue fines are due starting four days after the item was
due whether or not the borrower has received an overdue notice,
and will continue to accrue until the item is returned or
reported lost. Other fines are due upon notification of the
fine. Failure to pay fines will result in termination of borrowing
priviledges. The borrower's home library shall be notified
of unpaid bills of long standing.
