LIMITATIONS: 
Materials taken from the open stacks may be checked out for two weeks and may be renewed two times if a hold has not been placed on them. There is a limit of three books per TexShare borrower. Interlibrary loan is restricted to current faculty, students and staff of SWTJC and RGC.

ELIGIBILITY: 
Potential borrowers must present a valid TexShare card from their home library and a photo ID - TDL or valid student photo ID. They will fill out an application which is used to enter data into the circulation system. They must have their Social Security number.

CARD AVAILABILITY: 
TexShare cards will be issued any time the library is open. SWTJC/RGC students, faculty, and staff cards will be valid for only one semester. Students must not have outstanding charges.

Uvalde campus:
Mon.-Thurs. 7:00am-9:30pm
Fri. 7:00am-4:30pm
Sat. 11:00am-5:00pm
Sun. 3:00pm-9:30pm

Del Rio and Eagle Pass campuses:
Mon.-Thurs. 8:30am-9:30pm
Fri. 8:30am-3:00pm
Sat. 11:00am-5:00pm.  

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: 
Books should be brought to the library or they can be renewed through a phone call or e-mail. 

RETURNS: 
Books should be returned to the campus where they are checked out or sent by U.S. mail.

The Library is not responsible for notifying borrowers that materials are overdue.

RECALLS: 
All items are subject to recall. If an item is recalled, the recall due date on the notice replaces the original due date. Fines are doubled for overdue recalled items.

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: 
Reference books, periodicals, and archival materials may be used only in the library.

LOANS:
Loan period is two weeks with two renewals. Limit is three books at a time.

FINES:  
Twenty cents per day per book. 

LOST ITEMS:  
The cost of lost items is the replacement price (minimun $15) plus a $3 processing fee. 

BILLING: Borrowers who fail to pay overdue fines and/or fees for damages to or replacement of materials will be blocked from further circulation privileges and notification will be sent to the home library.
