LIMITATIONS:
Limited to twenty (20) items per borrower. Blocking places restriction upon delinquent borrowers, tagging them for retrieval of overdue items.

ELIGIBILITY:
Application is made at the Circulation Desk via a written form; card is issued with Circ Coordinator's signature of approval, and either held for pickup or mailed upon request to applicant. Must show photo ID to retrieve card. Card issuance effective for duration of current semester only; must renew each semester.

CARD AVAILABILITY:
During normal operation hours.

HOURS:
Normal fall and spring semester hours:
Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m.
Friday, 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Saturday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Sunday, 2:00-10:30 p.m.

Normal summer semester hours:
Sunday, 2:00-10:00 p.m.
Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Closed Saturday

Between-semester or holiday hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00
Closed Saturday and Sunday

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS:
Renewals can be completed in person, over the telephone, or via email.

RETURNS:
Books can be returned in person, either to the front desk or via the outside book drop, and can be mailed back to the Gee Library.

OVERDUES:
Overdue notices are made either via telephone, regular-delivery mail, or emails.

RECALLS:
All books are subject to recall. Should a recall be necessary, the patron in original possession of the book would be notified either by telephone, email, or by letter.

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS:
Items placed upon reserve by faculty members for usage within the library premises only. some special collections, such as reference, are also designated as non-circulating.

LOANS:
General book check-out period is three weeks, with one renewal for Texshare card holders, who are restricted to five books per category and twenty(20)books in total. Individuals under 18 are not elegible unless they are a student at a Texshare academic institution participating in the card program.

FINES:
A flat fine of twenty-five cents ($.25) per day is charged per overdue item per calendar day.

LOST ITEMS:
Sixty dollars ($60.00) is charged per lost item, upon classification of said item(s) as having been lost.

BILLING:
Patron is notified via a telephone call, regular-delivery letter, or email, that the book in question is overdue and must be returned, and the fine period is in effect, starting with the first overdue day. Letters are sent at the seventh and fourteenth days to remind the patron to return the book. The book is considered lost after sixty days, and the lost fee is added.
